It has been discovered that, in the case where a Nippon Life employee took internal information related to insurance sales from their assigned bank without permission and shared it within their sales department, there is a possibility that related data stored in this department was deleted shortly after the company’s internal investigation began.
日本生命では、三菱UFJ銀行に出向していた社員が保険など金融商品の販売に関する銀行内部の情報を無断で持ち出し、その後、社内の営業担当の部署で共有されていたことが先月、明らかになっています。
At Nippon Life, it was revealed last month that an employee who had been seconded to MUFG Bank took internal bank information related to the sales of financial products such as insurance without permission, and that this information was later shared within the company’s sales department.
この部署では持ち出された内部情報をもとに営業目的の資料が作成され電子データとして保存していましたが、関係者によりますと問題の発覚を受けて社内の調査が始まった直後にデータが削除された可能性があることが分かりました。
In this department, materials for business purposes were created based on internal information that had been taken out and saved as electronic data. 情報の持ち出しに関する証拠を隠そうとしたとみられます。

この問題をめぐっては金融庁が今月18日までに事実関係を報告するよう求めています。
