Ukrainian President Zelensky is scheduled to visit Washington on the 18th to meet with President Trump and discuss future responses, with the focus on whether coordination will progress toward a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States.

In return, President Trump explained that Russia would agree to a ceasefire in the remaining areas and give a written promise not to attack Ukraine or other European countries again.

President Trump revealed that he discussed land swaps in his meeting with President Putin, but did not go into detail.

Ukrainian President Zelensky has consistently refused to cede any territory, and most European countries have supported this stance.
