利用が
再開されました。
Due to a man being attacked by a brown bear on Mount Rausu in Shari Town, located on the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, the popular tourist spot Shiretoko Goko Lakes, which had been closed, partially reopened for use on the 17th.
今月14日に羅臼岳で20代の登山者の男性がヒグマに襲われたことを受けて、世界自然遺産・知床を代表する観光名所の「知床五湖」は閉鎖されていました。
On the 14th of this month, after a male climber in his 20s was attacked by a brown bear on Mount Rausu, Shiretoko Goko, a famous tourist spot representing the Shiretoko World Natural Heritage Site, was closed.
環境省は17日午前8時から湖の散策路のうち、「高架木道」の利用を再開しました。
The Ministry of the Environment resumed the use of the elevated wooden walkway, one of the lakeside trails, from 8 a.m. on the 17th.
この木道は地上から2メートル以上の高さにあるほか、脇には電気柵が張り巡らされていて、安全に散策することができるとしています。
This boardwalk is more than 2 meters above the ground, and electric fences are installed along the sides, making it possible to walk safely.
17日朝はオープンと同時に観光客が訪れていて、多くの人がクマよけの鈴や撃退用のスプレーを備えながら景色を眺めたり、写真を撮ったりして雄大な自然を楽しんでいました。

兵庫県から訪れた60代の男性は「ニュースをみて、対策なしでは行けないと思い、クマ鈴を買ってきました。
A man in his 60s who visited from Hyogo Prefecture said, After seeing the news, I thought I couldnt go without any precautions, so I bought a bear bell.

話していました。

また、宇都宮市から訪れた60代の男性は「動物を見つけてもむやみに近づかないよう心がけたいです」と話していました。
Additionally, a man in his 60s who visited from Utsunomiya City said, I want to make sure not to approach animals carelessly even if I spot them.
一方、知床五湖の散策路のうち、地上の遊歩道については、利用の中止が続くということです。
On the other hand, the ground walking trails among the Shiretoko Five Lakes promenades will remain closed to visitors.
