The government has shifted its previous policy of not considering the construction of new nuclear power plants, and in the Basic Energy Plan formulated this February, it clearly stated its policy to promote the construction of next-generation nuclear reactors within the premises of the same electric power company, targeting the replacement of decommissioned nuclear power plants.
