環境省のまとめでは、ことし4月から8月末までにクマによる人身被害は
▽長野県と岩手県が13人
▽秋田県が8人
▽福島県、新潟県で5人などの合わせて69人でした。
According to a summary by the Ministry of the Environment, from April to the end of August this year, there were a total of 69 people injured by bears: 13 each in Nagano and Iwate prefectures, 8 in Akita prefecture, and 5 each in Fukushima and Niigata prefectures, among others.

今の形式で統計を取り始めた2006年度以降で年間を通じて過去最多となった2023年度は8月末までの人身被害は71人で、今年度はほぼ同じ水準となっています。

このうち死亡した人は、2年前は年間を通して6人で、同時期の8月末までは2人だったことから、今年度は3人多くなっています。

環境省によりますと、秋以降にどんぐりなどクマの餌が山の中で少なかった場合は、市街地などでの出没が増える可能性もあるとして、生ゴミなどを長時間外に出さないことなどを呼びかけています。
According to the Ministry of the Environment, if food sources for bears such as acorns are scarce in the mountains after autumn, there is a possibility that bear sightings in urban areas and other places may increase. They are urging people not to leave garbage and other waste outside for long periods of time.
