Six Japanese nationals, believed to be members of the criminal group JP Dragon, which is said to have repeatedly targeted Japanese people with special fraud schemes from the Philippines, were transferred to Japan on the 10th and arrested by police on suspicion of stealing cash cards from victims of special fraud cases.
逮捕されたのは三本竹朗容疑者（27）など27歳から45歳の日本人6人です。
Those arrested include Akira Mihon Take 27 and five other Japanese nationals aged between 27 and 45.
福岡県警によりますと、6人はおととし、ほかの実行役などとともに、うその電話で金をだまし取る特殊詐欺事件に関わり、被害者からキャッシュカードを盗んだ疑いが持たれています。
According to the Fukuoka Prefectural Police, the six individuals are suspected of being involved, along with other perpetrators, in a special fraud case two years ago in which they stole cash cards from victims by making fraudulent phone calls to swindle money.
10日、フィリピンから日本に移送されて航空機内で逮捕され、午後3時半ごろ成田空港に到着しました。
On the 10th, he was transferred from the Philippines to Japan, arrested on the plane, and arrived at Narita Airport around 3:30 p.m.
捜査関係者によりますと、いずれもフィリピンから日本人をねらった特殊詐欺を繰り返しているとされる犯罪グループ「JPドラゴン」のメンバーで、フィリピンにある拠点からうその電話をかける「かけ子」だったとみられるということです。
According to investigators, all of them are believed to be members of the criminal group JP Dragon, which is said to repeatedly commit special fraud targeting Japanese people from the Philippines. They are suspected of being kakeko—callers who make fraudulent phone calls from a base in the Philippines.
福岡県警がフィリピン政府に捜査協力を要請し、ことし5月、現地当局に拘束されていました。
Fukuoka Prefectural Police requested investigative cooperation from the Philippine government, and in May this year, the local authorities detained him.
「JPドラゴン」は、「ルフィ」などと名乗って日本国内で広域強盗事件を起こしたとして指示役らが逮捕・起訴された特殊詐欺グループとの接点も確認されていて、警察はグループの実態解明を進めることにしています。
JP Dragon has also been found to have connections with a special fraud group whose ringleaders, using names like Luffy, were arrested and prosecuted for orchestrating a series of large-scale robberies across Japan. The police are working to uncover the actual situation of the group.
