The consumer price index and the number of new unemployment insurance claims announced in the United States on the 11th have further strengthened speculation among investors that the FRB will decide to resume interest rate cuts at next weeks meeting to support the economy. In the Tokyo market as well, active buying orders were placed based on the view that interest rate cuts in the U.S. would be a tailwind for the Japanese economy.
