Fukuoka, the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, revealed that the number of people affected will be about 3.1 million, and that their burden is expected to increase by around 9,000 yen per year on average. He asked for understanding from the perspective of curbing the burden on the working generation.
原則1割となっている75歳以上の後期高齢者の医療費の窓口負担は、3年前の制度改正で、単身世帯は年収200万円以上、複数世帯は世帯年収が320万円以上で2割に引き上げられた一方、負担の増加を緩和するため、1か月の外来診療の負担増は3000円までとする配慮措置が設けられました。
The out-of-pocket medical expenses for people aged 75 and over, which are generally set at 10%, were raised to 20% in the system revision three years ago for single-person households with an annual income of 2 million yen or more, and for multiple-person households with a household income of 3.2 million yen or more. On the other hand, to ease the increase in burden, a special measure was established to limit the monthly increase in outpatient expenses to a maximum of 3,000 yen.
この配慮措置は、今月末で終了することになっていて、福岡厚生労働大臣は、12日の閣議のあとの記者会見で、影響を受ける人は推計でおよそ310万人にのぼり、平均で年9000円程度、負担が増える見込みだと明らかにしました。
This special measure is scheduled to end at the end of this month. At a press conference following the Cabinet meeting on the 12th, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare Fukuoka revealed that the number of people affected is estimated to be about 3.1 million, and that their average annual burden is expected to increase by around 9,000 yen.
