Heavy rain of 5 millimeters fell.

There is a risk of extremely heavy rain accompanied by thunder from northern to eastern Japan, and the front is expected to gradually move southward.

The amount of rainfall expected in the 24 hours until the morning of the 18th is predicted to be up to 100 millimeters in both Tohoku and Niigata Prefecture.

A Heat Stroke Alert has been issued for Ibaraki Prefecture, Saitama Prefecture, the 23 wards and Tama area of Tokyo, Chiba Prefecture, Shizuoka Prefecture, Aichi Prefecture, Mie Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Wakayama Prefecture, Kochi Prefecture, Nagasaki Prefecture, and the Yaeyama region of Okinawa Prefecture, as the risk of heat stroke is extremely high.
