In the early hours of the 25th, there was a fire in an apartment building in Suginami Ward, Tokyo, and six people, including a teenage woman who lived in the room where the fire started, were taken to the hospital after inhaling smoke.
警察と消防はモバイルバッテリーから出火したとみて詳しい状況を調べています。

警視庁などによりますと25日午前2時前、東京 杉並区阿佐谷南の5階建てのマンションの1室で「モバイルバッテリーから火が出た」などと、住人から119番通報がありました。
According to the Metropolitan Police Department and others, just before 2 a.m. on the 25th, a resident called 119 to report that a fire broke out from a mobile battery in a room of a five-story apartment building in Asagaya Minami, Suginami Ward, Tokyo.
消防車など29台が出て火はおよそ2時間後に消し止められましたが、2階の1室のおよそ20メートル">平方メートルが焼け、この部屋に住む10代の女性など、あわせて6人が煙を吸うなどして病院に搬送されたということです。
About 29 vehicles, including fire engines, were dispatched, and the fire was extinguished approximately two hours later. However, about 20 square meters of one room on the second floor were burned, and a total of six people, including a teenage woman living in this room, were taken to the hospital after inhaling smoke.
いずれも軽傷とみられるということです。
It is believed that all of them sustained only minor injuries.
警視庁によりますと火元の部屋の女性は「モバイルバッテリーをスマートフォンにつないで充電した状態で寝ていた所、『ボン』と音がしたので起きると炎があがっていた」などと話しているということで、警察と消防はモバイルバッテリーから出火して燃え広がったとみて詳しい状況を調べています。
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, the woman in the room where the fire started said, I was sleeping while charging my smartphone with a mobile battery, and I woke up when I heard a bang sound and saw flames. The police and fire department are investigating the details, suspecting that the fire started from the mobile battery and spread.
現場は、東京メトロ丸ノ内線の南阿佐ケ谷駅から東におよそ200メートル離れた住宅や飲食店が建ち並ぶ地域です。
The site is located in an area lined with houses and restaurants, about 200 meters east of Minami-Asagaya Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.
