Postal workers bitten by dogs, most victims were in California with 675 US surveys
米郵政公社（ＵＳＰＳ）は１１日までに、郵便配達員が届け先で犬に噛まれる被害件数に関する２０２２年版の州別などの調査結果を公表し、カリフォルニア州の６７５件が最多だったと報告しました
By the 11th, the United States Postal Service (USPS) announced the results of a 2022 edition of a state-by-state survey on the number of cases in which mail carriers were bitten by dogs at their destinations, and reported that California had the highest number of cases, with 675 cases.
毎年実施している調査で、テキサス州の４０４件にニューヨーク州の３２１件などが続きました
In an annual survey, Texas had 404 cases, followed by New York with 321.
By city, Houston and Los Angeles were the most frequented by Dallas.

An executive in charge of USPS business safety management pointed out that there are many cases in which well-behaved dogs, who had not shown threatening behavior until then, confronted delivery workers who were bitten.
