At a restaurant in Leshan City, Sichuan Province, China, dinosaur footprints from 100 million years (from today) were discovered.
中国四川省楽山市のレストランで、今から１億年前の恐竜の足跡が発見されました
These footprint were discovered in the restaurant’s garden by the observing eye of an astute customer who was eating in the restaurant.
この足跡は、レストランで食事をしていた観察眼の鋭い客が、店の中庭で発見しました
According to the paleontologists and the associate professor at the University of Geology, Lida Shin, (the discovery) means that the footprints inside the indentations of the multiple rocks that were found at the restaurant are comprised of that of 2 sauropods (a diplodocus-like dinosaur) that existed during the early cretaceous period.
On the 16th (of July) Shin’s team used a 3D scanner to confirm that these indentations were dinosaur footprints.
