The Sanriku Railway running in Iwate Prefecture’s winter ”Kotatsu Train” has begun
岩手県の海の近くを走る三陸鉄道で、今年も「こたつ列車」が始まりました
The ``Kotatsu Train’’ has started again this year on the Sanriku Railway, which runs near the sea in Iwate Prefecture.
You can sit in a warm kotatsu and enjoy the winter scenery from the train.
16日は20人ぐらいが列車に乗って、久慈駅を出発しました
Those on board ate bento boxes filled with sea urchins and abalone from Iwate Prefecture, and took photos of the beautiful scenery.
On the train, everyone was surprised when ”Namomi” with a demon-like face appeared.
”Namomi” appears in events that have been going on for a long time in Kuji and other places.
A Sanriku Railway employee said, ``I’m happy that so many people ride the train over and over again.’’

The kotatsu train will run on Saturdays and Sundays until March 24th next year.
