今日10日は十五夜で、関東でも「中秋の名月」が見られました。

10日午後7時ごろには広い範囲で晴れて満月を見ることができました。

中秋の名月、つまり十五夜の日は＝満月ではないんです。

むしろ満月とは同じ日にならない年が多いそうです。

そもそも旧暦の8月15日がいわゆる中秋の名月です。

旧暦なので、今のカレンダーでは9月中旬になることが多く、年によっては10月になることもあるそうです。

去年も中秋の名月と満月が同じ日でした。
