The British Telegraph announces that the Oxford University "has opened a breakthrough" in vaccine development.
現在、行われている臨床試験では、ワクチンを接種した被験者の体内で抗体だけでなく、T細胞と呼ばれる免疫システムが生成されたということです。
Current clinical trials have shown that not only antibodies, but also the immune system called T-cells are made in the body of vaccinated subjects.
抗体は数カ月で消えてしまう可能性が指摘されている一方、数年持続するT細胞の生成は、ウイルスに対していわば「二重の防護」になるということです。
