あの今海底が綺麗な砂地になってるという風におっしゃられたんですけども、

その理由はどういうことが推測されますか？

理由はですね、あの漁師さんに聞いた話なんですけど、津波であの砂の上の泥がですね、
The reason... Well, it's what I heard from the fishermen, but the mud on top of the sand, that tsunami
全部こう、陸の方に持って行かれたんじゃないかという話で、
may have brought it all to the land, that's the talk.
まあ今日話を聞いてもよく理解できなかったんですけど、潜ってみて本当に泥がないんでですね、
When I heard that today, I couldn't understand it well, but when I dove in, there really was no mud.
あの、みんなこう比重の重い、砂は残ったんですけど、
They're all, well, relatively heavy. The sand remained, but
泥はなんかどこかに飛ばされちゃったんだなっていうのを実感として分かりました。
where the mud was blown away to, I began to personally understand that.
