日本の水産物に対する中国の禁輸措置が続いていることなどが影響し、10月の農林水産物・食品の輸出額はマイナスに転じました。
農林水産省が発表した10月の中国向け水産物の輸出額は、前の年の同じ月と比べて83.8％マイナスの14億円で、ホタテの輸出は先月に続きゼロでした。
中国への輸出は4カ月連続でマイナスとなっています。
また、10月の全体の輸出額も1133億円で9.5％減少しました。
中国のほか、香港や東南アジアへの輸出が落ち込みました。
中国経済低迷の影響が広がっていることや訪日旅行客の数が増えているため、現地での日本産食品の消費は減っていることが要因とみられています。
宮下農水大臣は、ホタテの加工作業を中国からベトナムに移すなど「輸出先の多角化をさらに進める必要がある」としています。
