物価高が続くなか、小売業界ではプライベートブランドが過去最高の売り上げを記録するなど、価格を抑えた商品が売り上げを伸ばしています。
イオンによりますと、プライベートブランド「トップバリュ」の2023年2月までの1年間の売り上げは前の1年より10％増え、過去最高の約9000億円でした。
「価格維持」の取り組みや「半分の量で炒め物ができる油」など、付加価値のある新商品を投入したことがプラスに働いたということです。

ローソンストア100は市場で食料品の値上げが相次いだ去年10月以降、前の年の売り上げを上回る状況が続いています。
製造や物流の効率化で、自社開発の商品を中心に約4割で価格を据え置いたことなどが功を奏したと分析しています。

消費者の節約意識の高まりを受け、小売業界では自社開発商品やプライベートブランドを強化する動きが続いています。
