中国・河南省を襲った豪雨を巡り、地元政府は死者が302人、行方不明者は50人に上ると発表しました。

死者数は先週の発表から200人以上、急増しています。

河南省政府が2日に行った会見によりますと、中心都市の鄭州などを襲った豪雨では302人の死亡が確認され、50人がいまだ行方不明のままということです。　
According to a press conference held by the Henan provincial government on the 2nd, 302 people were confirmed dead in the heavy rain that occurred in the central city of Zhengzhou, and 50 people are still missing.
先週の発表では死者は99人だったため、犠牲者が大幅に増えたことになります。
The announcement last week said that 99 people had died, so the number of victims has increased significantly.
半数以上が洪水で流され、50人以上が地下室や地下鉄などへの浸水で溺死したとしていますが、数日で死者数が急増した理由は明らかにされていません。

今回の豪雨の被災者は河南省だけで1400万人に達し、被害額は約2兆円に上っています。
