警察によるニシキヘビの捜索が今日で打ち切られました。　
Today, the police will stop the search for the giant brocade python.　
今月6日、横浜市戸塚区のアパートの部屋で飼育されていた体長3.5メートルのアミメニシキヘビが逃げ出しました。　
On the 6th of this month, a 3.5m-long brocade python kept in an apartment room in Totsuka ward, Yokohama escaped.
警察は16日間の捜索で延べ269人を投入しましたが、発見できませんでした。　
Police sent 29 people to conduct a 16-day search, but still could not find the python.
これまでに有力な手掛かりもなく、警察は今日午後4時に捜索を打ち切りました。
So far there have been no leads, and the police will end the search at 4pm today.
今後は周辺のパトロールを強化して対応するということです。　
In the near future, they will increase patrols in the surrounding area.
消防などはあす以降も引き続き捜索を継続する予定です。
The fire department plans to resume the search from tomorrow.
