政府はガソリン価格の抑制策として、石油元売り会社に支給する補助金の上限を「25円」から「35円」に引き上げる方向で調整に入りました。　
As a measure to curb gasoline prices, the government began adjusting to raise the upper limit of subsidies provided to oil wholesalers from "25 yen" to "35 yen".
政府は現在、ウクライナ情勢などの影響で高騰しているガソリンなどの価格を抑えるため1リットルあたり「25円」を上限に石油元売り会社に補助をしています。　
The government is currently subsidizing oil wholesalers up to 25 yen per liter to curb the skyrocketing gasoline prices due to the situation in Ukraine.
この制度の期限は今月末までですが、政府関係者によると、9月まで延長するとともに、補助の上限を「35円」に引き上げる方向で調整しているということです。　
The subsidy period is until the end of this month, but government officials say it will last until September and the upper limit of the subsidy will be raised to "35 yen".
補助を手厚くすることで、目標とするレギュラーガソリンの全国平均の基準価格は現在の「172円」から「168円」に引き下げます。　
By increasing the subsidy, the national average standard price of regular gasoline will be reduced from the current "172 yen" to "168 yen".
政府は来週にも制度を正式に発表する予定です。
