日野自動車は排出ガスなどのデータ不正問題で調査報告書を公表し、不正がおよそ20年前から続いていたことを明らかにしました。

弁護士などからなる特別調査委員会の調査報告書によりますと、日野自動車がこれまで公表していた2016年より前の少なくとも2003年からおよそ20年にわたって排出ガスのデータ改ざんが行われていたとしています。
また、2016年に三菱自動車で燃費不正が発覚した際の国土交通省の調査に対して「不適切な事案はない」と嘘の報告をしていたと指摘しました。
国土交通省は報告内容を検証し、処分することにしています。
