日本を訪れる外国人観光客の消費額の目標を「1人あたり20万円」に引き上げる案を政府が、観光戦略の新たな基本計画で示すことが分かりました。

新たな案では外国人観光客の消費額を新型コロナの感染拡大前からおよそ25％引き上げ、2025年に一人あたり20万円に引き上げるとしています。　
The new proposal calls for increasing the amount spent by foreign tourists by about 25% from before the coronavirus outbreak, to 200,000 yen per person by 2025.
これまで政府の観光戦略は外国人観光客の「人数」を目標としてきましたが、「1人あたりの消費額」とすることで、経済効果を高める狙いがあります。　
Until now, the government's tourism strategy has targeted the "number" of foreign tourists, but by setting the "amount spent per person" as the target, the government aims to increase the economic impact. 　
宿泊単価や滞在日数、富裕層の受け入れなどを増やすための支援を行います。　
Support will be provided to increase the unit price per night, length of stay, and acceptance of wealthy visitors.
政府はインバウンドの年間消費額5兆円を目指していて、新たな計画を来月中に取りまとめる方針です。
The government is aiming for 5 trillion yen in annual inbound spending and plans to compile a new plan by the end of next month.
