新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大が続くフィリピンで、小学校の生徒の保護者らがオンラインではなく対面で授業をするよう求めるデモを行いました。　
In the Philippines, where the new strain of corona virus is continuing to spread, parents of primary school students protested to demand face-to-face teaching instead of online teaching.
フィリピンでは新型コロナ対策として小学校から大学までオンラインによる授業が続いていて、新学期初日を迎えた13日も登校する生徒の姿はありませんでした。　
In Philippines, online classes are continuously taking place from elementary school to university level as a countermeasure to the new strain of corona virus, and no students attended school on the 13th, the first day of the new semester.
こうしたなか、首都マニラの小学校の校門前で生徒の保護者らがオンラインではなく対面で授業をするよう求めるデモを行いました。　
Faced with that situation, a protest was held in front of the school gate of an elementary school in Manila, the parents of the students asked to teach face-to-face, not online.
インターネットの利用料などが払えず、オンライン授業を受けられない子どもが多数いると訴えています。　
They complain that there are many children cannot attend online classes because they cannot pay for internet usage.
「オンライン授業のために食べ物を買うお金を使わなければならない」　
"I have to spend money to buy food for my children to learn online."
保護者らは対面での授業を安全に再開するため、早急に対策を検討するよう政府に求めています。
Parents are calling on the government to consider measures as soon as possible to safely resume face-to-face lessons.
