山梨県富士河口湖町では紅葉の河口湖を駆け抜ける「富士山マラソン」が行われています。
In Fujikawaguchiko, Yamanashi Prefecture, the "Fuji Mount Marathon", racing pass Kawaguchi lake among the momiji, was held.
富士山マラソンは2012年、富士山が世界遺産に登録されたのをきっかけに始まりました。
The Fuji Mount Marathon began in 2012 after the mountain was registered as a World Heritage Site.
午前9時、ランナー約1万3000人が一斉にスタートしました。
At 9:00 am this morning, about 13,000 people began to run together.
このうち、今年は過去最多の50カ国から5000人が参加しています。
5000 foreigners from 50 countries participated in this event, the number of this year was the most ever.
今日はあいにくの天気で富士山の姿は見られませんが、ランナーたちは秋が深まり、紅葉がきれいな河口湖の湖畔を駆け抜けていました。
Today, unfortunately, the weather was unfavorable so it was impossible to admire the scence of Mount Fuji, but the runners ran past the shores of Kawaguchi lake, where the beautiful momiji was located.
