日本で白人に対しての人種差別はとっても激しいです！
The racism towards white people in Japan is terrible!
日本に住んでる白人は結構、楽々してると思ったけど。
I thought white people in Japan had it pretty easy.
そんなことないよ。
That's not true.
日本の銭湯はだめです！
Japan's public baths are terrible.
白人を禁止してるんですよ。
They don't allow white people.
ああ、なるほどね、銭湯か。
Oh, I see...bathhouses, huh?
それは聞いたことあるね。
I've heard of that before.
でも、見たこともないし、ほとんどないんじゃない。
But, I've never seen it before. There are hardly any places like that.

They're a rare exception, just an exception.
いやいや、僕はお風呂から追い出されたよ。
No, no, no. I was thrown out of the bath.

What? Just because you're white?
あの、刺青入れてるからって言われた。
Well, I was told it was because I have a tattoo.
けど、日本人で刺青入れてる人はたくさんいたよ。
But there were lots of Japanese people with tattoos.
へえ、デビッド君刺青あるんだ。
Wow, you have a tattoo, David?
そうよ、カッコいい漢字の刺青を入れたんだよ。
Yeah. A super cool one with Chinese characters.

Look.
これはstrength、これはpower、これはwisdom、これはhappiness。
This is "strength", this is "power", this is "wisdom", and this is "happiness".

Isn't it cool?

It most certainly is racism!
我々白人は弾圧されてます、ひどく。
We white men are suffering terrible oppression.
