収穫量日本一の桃の産地として知られる山梨県笛吹市では、一足先に夏の風物詩・桃狩りのシーズンが始まりました。　
In Fuefuki City, Yamanashi Prefecture, known as Japan's largest peach producer, peach picking season, a summer tradition, has begun.
笛吹市の観光農園「浅間園」では、「日川白鳳」という甘さが人気の品種が食べ放題ということで、朝から大勢の観光客が訪れました。　
At Asamaen, a tourist farm in Fuefuki-shi, a large number of visitors arrived since the morning for the all-you-can-eat offer of "Nikkawa Hakuho", a variety of peach famous for its sweetness.
今年は春先の気温が高かった影響で豊作となり、さらに梅雨の到来が遅れて実がなる時期に雨が少なかったため、小ぶりでも甘みの強い桃に仕上がったということです。
This year's harvest is bumper due to high temperatures in early spring, late rainy season and little rain during the ripening period, so peaches are smaller but sweeter.
