冬の寒さで牛乳の消費が減って捨てられるのを防ごうと、ローソンは今年もホットミルクを半額で販売します。　
In an effort to prevent milk consumption from decreasing and being thrown away due to the cold winter weather, Lawson will again sell hot milk at half price this year.
12月から1月は気温が低いため牛乳の消費量が落ち込むうえ、冬休みで学校給食での需要も見込めないため生乳の大量廃棄が心配されています。　
Milk consumption drops from December to January due to low temperatures, and there is also concern about large amounts of raw milk being discarded due to the winter vacations and the lack of demand for school lunches. 　
去年は農林水産省などが牛乳や乳製品を積極的に消費するよう呼び掛け、ローソンは大みそかと元日にホットミルクを半額の税込み65円で販売しました。　
Last year, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries and others called for active consumption of milk and dairy products, and Lawson sold hot milk at half price, 65 yen including tax, on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. 　
今年も、この取り組みを実施することにしています。

去年は2日間でホットミルク135トンを販売し、この2日を含む1週間では、おととしの販売量の18倍に上ったということです。　
Last year, 135 tons of hot milk were sold in two days, and in one week including these two days, the volume of hot milk sold was 18 times higher than that of the previous year. 　
また、12月26日から牛乳の消費促進フェアを開き、カフェラテ用のクーポンの配布なども行うということです。
