サル痘がヒトから犬に感染した事例を受けて、アメリカの保健当局が「ペットとの接触を避けるべき」と警鐘を鳴らしました。　
US health officials have warned that people should avoid contact with pets after monkeypox spread from person to dog.
CDC、疾病対策センターは12日、サル痘に感染する可能性のある動物のリストをウェブサイトに掲載し、犬を「感染する恐れあり」と表示しました。　
The CDC, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, posted a list of animals that can be infected with monkeypox on its website on the 12th, marked dogs as "at risk of infection".
フランスで感染した男性と同じベッドで寝ていたペットの4歳の雄犬がサル痘に感染した事例を受けたものです。　
A 4-year-old male pet dog who slept in the same bed as an infected man in France contracted monkeypox.
ネコの感染は「不明」とされ、他にリスなどが感染する恐れのある動物とされています。
