台湾軍が敵に制圧された基地の奪還を想定した訓練を行いました。
The Taiwanese army conducted a simulated exercise to recapture the base that was captured by the enemy.
「台湾有事」を想定した実戦的な演習となっています。　
It was a mock exercise of the "Taiwan emergency".

This is a video of the "Enhanced Pre-Spring Festival Combat Readiness" training exercise released by the Taiwanese Army.
訓練は赤い帽子をかぶった「敵軍部隊」にヘリで強襲され、基地を制圧されたという想定で始まりました。　
The training began under the assumption that the base had been attacked by helicopters and overrun by "enemy forces" wearing red hats. 　
台湾陸軍は無人偵察機で状況を確認し、煙幕を張ったうえで、装甲車や戦車で敵軍に近付き攻撃するなど「実戦」を想定した演習が行われました。　
Taiwan's military confirmed the situation with a reconnaissance drone, and after spreading smoke, they approached and attacked the enemy with armored vehicles and tanks, conducting a simulated "real battle" exercise.
台湾海峡を巡っては、日米の外務・防衛担当の閣僚会議「2＋2」が行われ、南西諸島の防衛体制の強化が発表されました。　
Regarding the Taiwan Strait, the "2 + 2" Japan-US Foreign and Defense Ministers Meeting was held and it was announced that the defense system of the Nansei Islands would be strengthened.
台湾当局は「日米両政府の新たな支援を歓迎したい」と述べ、日米との連携を強化したい考えを示しました。
"We welcome the new support from the Japanese and US governments," the Taiwanese authorities said, adding that they wished to strengthen cooperation with the United States and Japan.
