新型コロナウイルスの影響で政府は、両陛下のイギリス訪問を延期することを発表しました。
The government announced that the Emperor and Empress's visit to the United Kingdom would be postponed because of the new strain of corona virus.
天皇皇后両陛下は今年5月に即位後、初めてとなる海外公式訪問としてイギリスを訪れる方向で調整していました。
The Emperor and Empress were planning to visit the United Kingdom as the first official foreign visit after their coronation.
しかし、新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受け、日本政府は先ほど訪問の延期を発表しました。
