屋内の光だけでも高い発電性能が維持できるペロブスカイト太陽電池が有効かを調べる検証が都庁の展望室で始まりました。　
Tests have begun at the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building observatory to study the effectiveness of perovskite solar cells, the batteries that can maintain high power generation efficiency even when there is only indoor light.
ペロブスカイト太陽電池は軽量で曲げるなどの加工がしやすいほか、従来の屋内用太陽電池と比べて発電性能が高いといわれています。　
Perovskite solar cells are lightweight, easy to bend and handle, and are said to have higher power generation efficiency than conventional home solar cells.
東京都はこの電池を使った機器の開発を進めるリコーなどと協定を結び、都庁45階の展望室などで発電が有効かの検証を始めました。　
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has signed agreements with Ricoh and other companies developing equipment using these batteries and has begun testing the efficiency of power generation in places such as the observation room on the 45th floor of the Toky
検証で使う機器は屋内の光で発電した電力で温度や湿度のほか、二酸化炭素濃度などを検知するということです。
The device used in the verification process uses electricity generated from indoor lighting to detect temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide levels.

都は、この検証を来年4月まで実施する予定です。
