リトルミスウップスはいつもへまばかりしています。
Little Miss Whoops is always making blunders.
目玉焼きを作ろうとして、卵を落とすというようなちょっとしたへまもしますし、
She also makes little blunders like trying to make sunny-side-up eggs, then dropping the eggs.
塗っているペンキをひっくり返すというような大きなへまもします。

毎朝、紅茶の時間には、
Every morning, during tea time,
ミルクも砂糖もビスケットも全部ひっくり返してしまいます。

彼女のお兄さんのミスターバンプの方がもっとひどいかもしれません。
Her older brother, Mr. Bump, may be even worse.
リトルミスウップスは毎年一週間、
Every year for a week, Little Miss Whoops
電車に乗ってお兄さんのミスターバンプに会いに行きます。
rides on a train to go see her older brother Mr. Bump.
ミスターバンプは自分がぶつかって落としてしまった時計を見ました。
Mr. Bump looked at the clock that he had knocked over.
「大変だ！妹の到着が一週間も遅れてる！」
"Oh no! My sister's arrival is late by over a week!"
リトルミスウップスはなぜそんなに遅れたのでしょう？
Why was Little Miss Whoops so late?
もちろん、全ては彼女のへまのせいでした。
Of course, it was all because of her blunders.
彼女は乗った電車が駅に止まっていた時、電車から落ちてしまいました。
When the train she was riding on stopped at the station, she fell down from the train.
「おっと！」
"Oops!"
その上、どういう訳かトラックに乗ってしまい、

そしてこれまたどういう訳か船に乗ってしまい、
and then for some reason again, got on a ship,
違う国まで連れて行かれました。

帰りの船が来たのは一週間後。
The returning ship came one week later.
またトラックに乗り、
She got on a truck again,
また電車に乗り、
got on a train again,
そしてようやく兄の家に着きました。
and finally reached her older brother's house.
「予定より一週間も待ったよ。随分長くかかったね。とにかくお茶にしよう！」
"I waited more than a week from the plan. You took quite long, huh? Anyway, let's have tea!"
さて、それからどうなったかはお分かりですよね？
Now, you know what happened after that, right?
二人はミルクも砂糖もビスケットも全部テーブルの上にひっくり返してしまいました。
Both of them spilled all the milk, sugar, and biscuits onto the table.
あーあ。
Oh well.
「あら、もうこんな時間！もう行かないと帰りの電車に間に合わないわ！」
"Oh dear! It's already this hour! I have to go or I won't make it for the returning train!"
リトルミスウップスは慌てて玄関を出ました。
Little Miss Whoops rushed out of the entrance-way.
「さようなら！」
"Goodbye!"
「さようなら！また来年！」
"Goodbye! See you again next year!"
ミスターバンプは妹の姿が見えなくなるまで見送りました。
Mr. Bump saw his younger sister off until he could no longer see her.
そして、彼は家に戻ろうとしましたが…
And then, he tried to return home, but...
ポキッ。
Crack.
取っ手を外してしまいました。
He took off the knob.
あーあ。
Oh well.
やっぱり世界で一番ドジなのはミスターバンプかもしれないですね。
I guess the clumsiest in the world may still be Mr. Bump.
