Thailand and Cambodia had continued armed clashes in the disputed border area since the 24th of last month, but, with mediation from ASEAN the Association of Southeast Asian Nations chair country Malaysia and others, they reached an agreement for an unconditional ceasefire four days after the clashes began.

双方が
停戦の
合意を
維持することで
同意した
場合、
議長国マレーシアが
主導しASEAN
加盟国から
なる停戦監視団が
作られる
見通しだということです。
Thailand and Cambodia are scheduled to hold talks in Malaysia from the 4th regarding border management and other issues.
