12日午前11時すぎ、京都市左京区の貴船にある飲食店で、「川床が崩れて人が川に落ちた」と店の従業員から消防に通報がありました。
Around 11 a.m. on the 12th, an employee at a restaurant in Kibune, Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, called the fire department and reported, The riverside deck has collapsed and people have fallen into the river.
警察や消防によりますと、川の上に木製の床を並べた「川床」が崩れて客の女性6人が転落し、5人は自力で岸に上がりましたが、79歳の女性が川に一時取り残されました。
According to the police and fire department, a kawadoko a wooden floor platform set up over the river collapsed, causing six female customers to fall into the river. Five of them managed to get to the shore by themselves, but a 79-year-old woman was temporarily left behind in the river.
この事故で、79歳の女性が救助後に体調不良を訴えたほか、救助にあたった店の49歳の男性経営者も足などに軽いけがをしたということです。

京都市が貴船に設置した雨量計では、10日の降り始めから11日午後3時までに157ミリの雨量が観測され、警察は、増水の影響で川床が崩れたとみて詳しい状況を調べています。
