日本政府が主導する国際会議、TICADは21日、民間企業も交えた会合が行われ、石破総理大臣は日本とアフリカの企業どうしの協力を加速させるとともに、鉱物資源の輸送ルートの整備などによって、国境を越えた物流を強化していく方針を示しました。
The international conference TICAD, led by the Japanese government, held a meeting on the 21st with the participation of private companies. Prime Minister Ishiba expressed his intention to accelerate cooperation between Japanese and African companies, and to strengthen cross-border logistics by developing transportation routes for mineral resources.
そして「日本はアフリカと共に笑い、泣き、汗をかきながら課題の解決に一つ一つ取り組んでいく。

最終日の22日は感染症対策といった保健分野や教育、それに災害対策などをテーマに議論が行われます。

その後、人材育成や鉱物資源の安定供給に向けた協力などを盛り込んだ「横浜宣言」を採択する見通しで、石破総理大臣らが記者会見して成果などを説明することにしています。

一方、石破総理大臣は21日までに各国の首脳ら29人と会談を重ねていて、22日も5人と会談する予定で、国連加盟国の4分の1を占め「グローバルサウス」としても存在感を高めるアフリカとの関係強化を図りたい考えです。
On the other hand, Prime Minister Ishiba has held talks with 29 leaders from various countries by the 21st, and is scheduled to meet with 5 more on the 22nd. He aims to strengthen relations with Africa, which accounts for a quarter of UN member states and is increasing its presence as part of the Global South.
