To ensure that services such as shopping, administrative procedures, and medical care can be maintained in areas with declining populations, the Cabinet Office is making arrangements to launch a model project from next fiscal year that will develop convenience stores, post offices, and other facilities as comprehensive hubs.
政府は先にまとめた地方創生の実現に向けた基本構想で安心して暮らせる地方をつくるため、10年後までにすべての市町村で▽買い物がしやすい環境の向上や▽医療・介護サービスの確保といった取り組みを進めるとしています。
The government has stated in its recently compiled basic plan for achieving regional revitalization that, in order to create local areas where people can live with peace of mind, it will promote initiatives such as improving shopping convenience and securing medical and nursing care services in all municipalities within the next ten years.
これも踏まえ内閣府は、過疎地をはじめとした人口減少が進む地域で買い物や行政、地域交流、それに医療や災害対応などのサービスを提供する総合的な拠点を整備するモデル事業を来年度から始める方向で調整しています。
Taking this into consideration, the Cabinet Office is making arrangements to launch a model project from next fiscal year that will establish comprehensive hubs providing services such as shopping, administrative support, community interaction, as well as medical care and disaster response in regions experiencing population decline, including depopulated areas.
具体的にはスーパーやコンビニ、それに郵便局に自治体の窓口を設置することなどを想定していて、企業と自治体のマッチングや有識者の現地派遣などを行う経費5000万円を来年度予算案の概算要求に盛り込みました。
Specifically, they are considering setting up municipal service counters in places like supermarkets, convenience stores, and post offices. They have included 50 million yen in next years preliminary budget request to cover expenses such as matching companies with local governments and dispatching experts to the sites.
伊東地方創生担当大臣は「1か所で複数のサービスを提供するとともに民間の施設やノウハウを活用した拠点づくりを推進し、低コストで効率的なサービスを提供する。
Minister for Regional Revitalization Ito said, We will promote the creation of hubs that provide multiple services in one location while utilizing private sector facilities and expertise, in order to deliver efficient services at low cost.
