North Korean media reported that General Secretary Kim Jong Un crossed the border into China on a special train in the early hours of the 2nd, in order to attend large-scale events such as a military parade to be held in China on the 3rd.
2日付けの北朝鮮の朝鮮労働党機関紙「労働新聞」は、キム・ジョンウン総書記が、中国・北京で3日、日本との戦争に勝利して80年の記念日だとして行われる大規模な軍事パレードなどの行事に出席するため、専用列車で1日、首都ピョンヤンを出発し、2日未明に国境を通過して、中国に入ったと報じました。
The Workers Party of Koreas official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, reported on the 2nd that General Secretary Kim Jong-un departed the capital Pyongyang on a special train on the 1st, and crossed the border into China in the early hours of the 2nd, in order to attend large-scale events such as a military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of victory over Japan in the war, to be held in Beijing, China, on the 3rd.
チェ・ソニ外相など朝鮮労働党や政府の主要な幹部が同行しているとしていて、掲載された写真では、キム総書記が専用列車の中で、チェ外相らと笑顔でことばを交わす様子が確認できます。
It is reported that key officials of the Workers Party of Korea and the government, including Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui, are accompanying him, and in the published photos, General Secretary Kim can be seen smiling and conversing with Foreign Minister Choe and others inside the special train.
