参拝されました。
Prince Hisahito, the eldest son of Prince and Princess Akishino, visited Ise Jingu in Mie Prefecture on the 8th to report that he had completed the coming-of-age ceremony.
6日、皇室で40年ぶりとなる男性皇族の成年式の儀式に臨んだ悠仁さまは、8日午前8時15分ごろ、伊勢神宮の「外宮」を参拝されました。
On the 6th, Prince Hisahito, who attended the coming-of-age ceremony for male members of the Imperial Family for the first time in 40 years, visited the Outer Shrine of Ise Grand Shrine at around 8:15 a.m. on the 8th.
続いて、皇室の祖先とされる「天照大神」をまつる最も中心的な社、「内宮」に向かわれました。
Next, they proceeded to the most central shrine dedicated to Amaterasu Omikami, considered the ancestor of the Imperial Family, known as the Naiku Inner Shrine.
モーニング姿の悠仁さまは、鳥居の前でおはらいを受けたあと、神職の先導で玉砂利が敷き詰められた参道をゆっくりと進まれました。
His Imperial Highness Prince Hisahito, dressed in morning attire, slowly proceeded along the gravel-covered approach to the shrine, following the Shinto priest after receiving a purification ritual in front of the torii gate.
そして、正殿の門の前で玉串をささげて拝礼し、成年式の儀式を終えたことを報告されました。
And then, in front of the main hall gate, they offered a sacred branch and bowed, reporting that the coming-of-age ceremony had been completed.
悠仁さまはこのあと奈良県を訪れ、日本書紀などで初代の天皇とされる神武天皇の陵を参拝される予定です。
Prince Hisahito is scheduled to visit Nara Prefecture afterward and pay his respects at the mausoleum of Emperor Jimmu, who is regarded as the first emperor in historical texts such as the Nihon Shoki.
悠仁さまは成年式に伴う行事として、9日は、東京八王子市の昭和天皇の陵などを参拝されるほか、10日は都内の民間施設でお祝いの昼食会が予定されています。
As part of the ceremonies marking Prince Hisahito’s coming of age, on the 9th he will visit the mausoleum of Emperor Showa in Hachioji, Tokyo, and on the 10th, a celebratory luncheon is scheduled at a private facility in Tokyo.
