アメリカ南部ジョージア州にある韓国の自動車メーカー、ヒョンデ（現代自動車）などの電池工場で4日、不法移民の取締により韓国人およそ300人を含む475人が、正規の手続きを経ずに入国したり、滞在期限を過ぎたりしていたなどとして当局に拘束されました。

韓国政府の関係者によりますと、このうち韓国人の釈放についてアメリカ側と協議し、交渉を終えたということで、すべての手続きが終わりしだい、チャーター機で帰国させる方針だということです。
According to officials from the South Korean government, they have discussed the release of the South Korean national with the American side and have completed negotiations. Once all procedures are finished, the plan is to have the person return home on a chartered flight.
またチョ・ヒョン（趙顕）外相が8日午後、アメリカへ向かい、ルビオ国務長官との協議を調整しているということです。
