Authorities have arrested a 22-year-old man on suspicion of shooting and killing a young conservative political activist who is close to former U.S. President Trump.

Conservative young political activist Charlie Kirk, who is close to former President Trump, was shot and killed at an event held at a university in Utah, western United States, on the 10th.

The influential American newspaper, The Wall Street Journal, reported on the shooting and death of Charlie Kirk, stating on the 11th that shell casings left at the scene of the crime were engraved with words indicating transgender and anti-fascist ideologies. However, after officials pointed out that the engraved words might not be accurate, the newspaper subsequently corrected the article.
