応じるイベントが
都内で
開かれました。
As interest in relocating to rural areas and dual residency grows, an event was held in Tokyo where local governments from across the country offered consultations.
20日と21日、代田">千代田区の東京国際フォーラムで開かれるイベントには、2日間で過去最多となるのべ700余りの自治体や商工団体などが参加します。
On the 20th and 21st, an event will be held at the Tokyo International Forum in Chiyoda Ward, where more than 700 municipalities and business organizations—the largest number ever—will participate over the two days.
それぞれブースを設け、自治体の担当者やすでに移り住んだ人たちが来場者に対し、移住者への支援制度のほか、地元の自然や住環境の魅力について説明していました。
Each municipality set up its own booth, where local officials and people who had already moved there explained to visitors not only the support systems available for new residents, but also the attractions of the local nature and living environment.
主催団体によりますと、テレワークと首都圏への通勤を組み合わせやすい関東近郊や、新幹線などで利便性のいい場所が人気だということです。
According to the organizing group, areas near the Kanto region where it is easy to combine telework with commuting to the metropolitan area, as well as places with convenient access via bullet trains and other transportation, are popular.
夫の出身地の佐賀県への移住を検討しているという都内の20代の女性は「東京だと子どもを公園で遊ばせたり、自然にふれあったりするのが難しく、地方でゆっくり過ごしたいです。
A woman in her twenties from Tokyo, who is considering moving to Saga Prefecture, her husband’s hometown, said, “In Tokyo, it’s difficult to let children play in parks or experience nature, so I’d like to spend time more leisurely in the countryside.”

I talked with them, and my worries about things like education and healthcare were relieved, they said.
主催した「ふるさと回帰・移住交流推進機構」の吉冨諒プロジェクトマネージャーは「コロナ禍以降、働き方の多様化が進み毎年、右肩上がりで移住への関心が高まっている。
Project Manager Ryo Yoshitomi of the Furusato Return & Migration Exchange Promotion Organization, which hosted the event, said, Since the COVID-19 pandemic, work styles have diversified, and interest in migration has been increasing year by year.

They said that a major change was that the current working generation, who are seeking a better environment for raising children, became the main focus.
この「ふるさと回帰フェア」は、21日も午前10時から午後4時半まで開かれています。
This Furusato Return Fair will also be held on the 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
