He said, We will create a virtuous economic cycle and build a society where people can feel optimistic about the future.

Chief Cabinet Secretary Hayashi said, We made truly painstaking efforts to reach a tariff agreement with the Trump administration.

We need to put this into practice.

I will use all of my experience and achievements so far to transform Japan once again into a bright country full of dreams and hope, he said.

Former Minister for Economic Security, Takaichi, said, Strengthening our national resilience is an important initiative to protect the lives of those living now and in the future, and we must not hesitate for financial reasons.

We will definitely take measures to protect lives.

Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Koizumi said, Japan must have its own production capacity.

Attracting companies and investments, like TSMC in Kumamoto Prefecture or Rapidus in Hokkaido.

He said, The government will take risks, even in cooperation with the private sector, to establish industrial hubs in rural areas.
