World Cancer Day Ryuichi Sakamoto ”It is important to spread awareness”

The event held in Chuo-ku, Tokyo was sponsored by the Japan Committee of the UICC / Union for International Cancer Control, and actress Sayuri Yoshinaga and others participated.
From 6:00 pm, 16 venues nationwide, including Tokyo Big Sight, were lit up in the symbol colors blue and orange.
At the event, a video message of Ryuichi Sakamoto, a musician undergoing cancer treatment, was released.
UICC will hold light-up events in more than 90 countries and regions other than Japan.
