New qualifications for foreigners to work in Japan, only 300 people in 6 months
In April this year, a new qualification called “specific skills” was created to increase the number of foreigners working in Japan.
Foreigners who have the qualification of “Specific Skill No. 1” can work to build buildings or elderly care.
The Japanese government plans to give this qualification to about 47,000 people in the year until March next year.
However, by September of this year, there were 2062 people who applied and only 300 people qualified.
The government wants to be eligible as soon as you apply so that more people can get this qualification
