政府は、就業体験など一定の条件を満たすインターンシップに参加した学生について、企業が採用時にその情報を活用できるよう指針を変えることを決めました。
政府はこれまで、企業がインターンシップで得た学生の情報について、採用活動では「使用できない」としていました。
これに対し、経団連と大学側は「就業体験を伴う」「インターン終了後に学生への振り返りを行う」「短期では5日間以上、長期で2週間以上」などの要件を満たせば採用活動で活用できるよう、指針の改正を求めました。
これを受けて、政府は2024年度に卒業する学生からを対象に情報の活用を認めることにしました。
インターンを巡っては、期間など「定義があいまい」と指摘する声が上がっています。
