13日、広島県竹原市にある干潟で小学5年生の男の子が親戚らと遊んでいたところ、2センチほどの透明な球体の中に小さなイカがいるのを見つけました。　
On the 13th, a boy in the 5th grade of elementary school was playing with his relatives on the sandy beach after the low tide in Takehara city, Hiroshima prefecture when he discovered a small transparent spherical squid about 2 cm long.
「白いブドウに見えました。ぷにぷにしてました」

卵の中にいる赤ちゃんは「コウイカ」の仲間で、ふ化が近くなり生みつけられた時にあった白い膜がはがれて透明になった状態だということです。
