2日、ポーランド軍の兵士がロシアの飛び地、カリーニングラードとの国境で、有刺鉄線を組み立て高さ2.5メートル、幅3メートルのフェンスの設置を開始しました。　
Polish soldiers began erecting a fence 2.5m high and 3m wide with barbed wire on the border with Russia's Kaliningrad region on the 2nd.
国境に沿っておよそ210キロにわたって設置される計画です。
It is planned to be installed along the border about 210 km.　
ポーランドでは「ロシアがカリーニングラードを経由し、中東などの移民や難民の送り込みを画策している」と懸念されていて、フェンスは不法移民の侵入を防ぐ狙いがあります。　
In Poland, there are concerns that “Russia is planning to send immigrants and refugees from the Middle East through Kaliningrad,” and that the fence is intended to stop illegal immigrants.
ポーランド政府は去年、隣国のベラルーシから数万人規模の難民らが押し寄せたことを受け、非常事態を宣言しました。　
The Polish government declared a state of emergency last year after tens of thousands of refugees from neighboring Belarus poured in.
