NATO首脳会議を前にトルコのエルドアン大統領がウクライナのゼレンスキー大統領と会談し、ウクライナのNATO加盟を支持する立場を表明しました。
On the eve of the NATO Summit, Turkish President Erdogan met with Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine and expressed support for Ukraine's membership in NATO.
エルドアン大統領は8日、ゼレンスキー大統領との共同会見で、「ウクライナはNATO加盟に値する」と述べ、ウクライナのNATOへの加盟を支持する考えを示しました。　
At a joint press conference with President Zelensky on the 8th, President Erdogan said that Ukraine deserves NATO membership and expressed his intention to support Ukraine's membership in NATO.
ゼレンスキー大統領は、11日に始まるNATO首脳会議の一部にも出席する予定で、その前にNATO加盟国を歴訪し、ブルガリアとチェコでも加盟への支持を取り付けました。　
President Zelensky is also expected to attend part of the NATO summit starting on the 11th, before visiting NATO member states and secured support for the membership of Bulgaria and the Czech Republic.
一方、エルドアン大統領はロシアのプーチン大統領と停戦に向けた交渉を続けるとしたうえで、「プーチン氏は来月トルコを訪問する」と明かしました。
On the other hand, Erdogan said he would continue to negotiate a ceasefire with Russian President Vladimir Putin, and revealed that Putin would visit Turkey next month.
