東京・築地市場の跡地の再開発を担う事業者が会見し、約5万人を収容する多機能スタジアムを中心に日本の国際競争力を高める街づくりをしたいと述べました。

三井不動産を代表とする11社からなる企業連合は、先月、東京都から築地市場の跡地の再開発事業予定者に選ばれました。　
Last month, a consortium of 11 companies, led by Mitsui Fudosan, was selected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government to carry out a redevelopment project on the former Tsukiji market site.
施設の中心には野球やサッカーなどのスポーツに加えてコンサートや展示会など、イベントに応じて客席の数や形が変わる多機能スタジアムが建てられます。　
At the heart of the facility will be a multi-use stadium that will accommodate sports such as baseball and soccer, as well as concerts and exhibitions, and the number and shape of seating will vary depending on the event.
その周囲には築地の場外市場と連携したフードホールや外国人の滞在も意識したホテルや住居、オフィス棟などのほか、「空飛ぶクルマ」や船の発着場などが整備される予定です。　
In addition to the food court linked to the Tsukiji outdoor market, hotels, residential areas and office buildings designed to accommodate foreigners, there are also facilities for “flying cars” and a dock.
総事業費は約9000億円で、施設の大部分は2032年度に完成するとしています。
The total cost of the project is about 900 billion yen and most of the facilities are expected to be completed by fiscal 2032.
